Dr. Cheryl Goldasich began working in the dental field when she was only fourteen years old as a dental assistant in her fathers, Dr. Robert Laxineta's office in Torrance, California. Ten years later, Dr. Goldasich married her husband, John and they had a daughter, Samantha. After more than fifteen years of working chair-side with her father, Dr. Goldasich decided to go back to school to become a dentist at the age of thirty-two. She graduated from the university of Southern California in 1999 and opened her practice in Torrance in 2001. Dr. Goldasich provides dental emergency services in Torrance as well as Cosmetic and General Dentistry. After the opening of her practice, Dr. Goldasich decided to return to the University of Southern California as a clinical faculty in 2007 where she assists dental students with clinical and patient care. Dr. Goldasich currently lives with her husband in the South Bay area and enjoys reading, yoga, and vacationing.

Dr. Gloria Luong was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and now lives in Torrance, where she is proud to serve the community she calls home. She earned her undergraduate degree Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and went on to complete a Master of Science in Medical Sciences and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, graduating first in her class. She further refined her clinical skills through an additional year of training while caring for veterans at the VA West Los Angeles Medicine Center.
While she’s not in the office, Dr. Luong enjoys challenging herself as a competitive powerlifter, having won the national championship in her weight class in 2025 and holding two California state bench press records. She also loves spending time with her happy yellow Labrador-Dachshund mix, Milo, who keeps her smiling and active outside of work.
